The act of sharing a meal fosters sociability and exchange—essential factors for people's well-being. For this reason, we envision outdoor dining in a natural setting as a celebration: a ritual where experiences are connected through the table, the land, and the food.

Our goal is to transform an everyday activity into a performative experience, where the landscape is filtered through a dreamlike layer: a transparent red fabric that provides shade in a sunlit environment without obstructing the view.

Conceptually, we focus on the duality between the picnic and the table. One dimension, two perspectives.

What if the table became the ground where we settle during a picnic? We decided to break conventional height norms, stepping onto the table, walking across it, going down, and climbing back up.

To this dynamic movement, we add another experience: the gallery. The gallery acts as an ephemeral, virtual, and paradoxical boundary that defines our project.

The transparent fabric ensures a constant visual connection with the rural surroundings. Additionally, two large frames highlight specific views of the landscape, inviting us to contemplate and enjoy it from unique perspectives.
